Positive: Lovely infrastructure, excellent amenities and well maintained. Loved every bit of the stay! Barbecue setup was on point. I would love to come back here again once it starts to snow. The beds were super comfortable, the entire villa was super clean. Very easy check-in process, definitely foreigner friendly!

Negative: Just very minor issues: The taps were labeled as drinking water, although it was a bit difficult to collect water in a glass/bottle because they are wide shower like flow, unlike a streamline water flow. Maybe there was button to change the flow, but it was not easy to find. Along with fruits and meat it would have been lovely if the villa also had basic hot tea/coffee instant mixes like hotels which can be made with kettle, which would be very suitable for the weather. Also there were only 3 umbrellas for a 4 guests. The torch/flashlight also did not work. The bedroom on the 1F maybe felt slightly a bit less airy because the AC was on the far beginning of the villa.

Summary: DREAMY PLACE -> highly recommend, and would definitely come back again!

Positive: Good design. Walkable with a light bag from station, ideally a car needed to be comfortable. No interaction with anyone needed but customer checkin process was clunky. We waited for 30 min outside while the lock codes were updated (no one picks up the phone. You just have to keep messaging via app). Facility is unique and similar to the pictures although within a residential area. Barbecue is usable and they provide charcoal/ meat in the fridge and some fruits already.

Summary: Good getaway if privacy is of utmost importance.

Positive: Seemed to be a new property about a 10 minute walk from the Nikko station. Stayed here as a family of four. Setup is two twin beds in a loft and a king bed downstairs. There was a jacuzzi on the patio and the shower/wc (located on the ground floor) was fine. It was nice to sit outside at the picnic table. Owner was very responsive. Location was okay - walkable to the station, the Lion D'Or supermarket, and some restaurants in Nikko, and easy to grab a bus to the sites.

Negative: My ratings always take into consideration value, and for the price point of this property in Nikko I expected more. The property was missing a few things, which could be related to the fact it's new and not fully fitted out yet. There was no coffee or coffee maker - given there is no shop close by even some instant coffee would be good. There are no hooks on the walls for towels and the like. There is a table and chairs, but no other place to sit inside - some sort of lounge chair or two (the place is big enough) would be appreciated. The windows are great, but with the sun coming up at 420am, some better blackout curtains would be great.

Summary: Nice property in an okay location, but not quite finished out.

Positive: Romantic Nikko Escape with My Husband～The cherry blossoms at this hotel were absolutely stunning! Soaking in the enormous outdoor jacuzzi on our balcony was *unbelievably* relaxing. We were even treated to complimentary fresh fruits and delicious BBQ – such a wonderful surprise! We heard autumn brings spectacular maple foliage here, so we’ll *definitely* be coming back when the leaves turn red.
