Positive: Kobe Mara is an incredibly special place. Seated between the conservancy and the Masai Mara park it has no fences and the animals are free to come and go. We saw buffalo, impala, zebras, giraffes and warthogs down by the waterhole near the main house and come to visit the tents. You are right in nature and able to hear of the animal activity at night, but are safe in a cosy and luxurious tent and well looked after by all the staff who patrol at night to keep you safe. It is quick and easy to get into the game park for game drives and to return at lunch time for a rest before going back out in the late afternoon. Jonathan and Joshua were our waiters and did an amazing job making sure we were very well looked after - along with Sammy who runs a tight ship. Chef Steve who is an incredible cook but all the staff are so kind and generous and did an incredible job! Too many to name Kobe also organised our game drives with an incredibly knowledgeable local guide - Nickson. Everything was seamless and very well done.

Positive: We had an absolutely beautiful week at Kobe Mara, in the Masai Mara Conservancy. We stayed in one of their four tents and had the most incredible wildlife roaming in front of our tent or at the water in front of the main house every single day. Sammy, his right hand Jonathan and their team carried us on their hands and made sure our every need was met with a huge smile. We went on games drives in the Masai Mara with rangers Moses & Alex. Their passion for nature and their culture was tangible in the experience and the knowledge they shared priceless. The chef Julius did wonders in the kitchen & the team even surprised us with a cake and little celebration on our final evening. The experiences we have had in the last week is something we will cherish forever. We cannot wait for our next visit.

Positive: We had a warm welcome from the staff and felt right at home. This place is exceptional. The host helped us plan the game drive and our shuttle service from Nairobi and back. The house was clean and is beautifully designed. The staff were at our availability and our meals were well prepared. It was all just positive and an unforgettable experience.

Positive: Location is gorgeous with beautiful views into the savanna, with a pond with animals coming to drink. The house is beautifully decorated. The food prepared by the chef was great. Very friendly staff, specially Vincent and Peter.

Positive: The placement was amazing, truly in the middle of the jungle with wildlife around. The tent was great and the shower/bathroom were really clean and comfortable. There was no insects in the tent although we’re surrounded by nature. The downside was the food as there was no menu, it was truly not organized and a hassle everytime we wanted to eat. The staff although extremely nice, a bit suffocating with the way they handle things. Special thanks to everyone there!
