Positive: Stayed twice. See comments on other review noting two stays/3 nights regarding spaciousness, comfort and new condition. Remember to get Munir's (great guy)local cell upon arrival.

Negative: Location for those who don't like a stroll. We loved walk and local feel. Google location needs to be corrected (given link by owner but off 20 meters and wrong side of street so you think it is on parallel street). Need local contacts phone number in reservation listing information (Munir) as he will be person you need to contact for entry/exit and day to day details.

Positive: We stayed twice for a total of 3 nights. Immaculate/spacious rooms (3 bedrooms/baths, sitting/dining area, kitchen and comfortable TV room). Everything is new and modern with plenty of fans and aircon in every space to make sure you are comfortable during all times of year. Munir is a very considerate and helpful host who is there to greet you on arrival and when you leave (make sure you get his direct cell # upon arrival as different than listed in booking). Highly recommend for big group/family who doesn't mind a walk into stone town.

Negative: Location could be an issue for those who don't enjoy a stroll to get into Stone Town. For us, it was a positive as you were embedded in the local neighborhoods, and we loved a nice walk. Locating the place remains an issue as Google maps (we were given link by property) remains a problem. It is off by 20 meters and the wrong side of the street (no street names on google), which can cause a challenge at night (screen save picture of house). Contact information on site needs to include local person (Munir), who you need to call to arrange for entry/exit as mentioned and especially if you have problems locating property.

Positive: The host Munir was fantastic. The house was clean and comfortable with good lighting. Easy to prepare meals and snacks for our family with adequate kitchen facilities and many small shops just outside selling fresh produce, meats, eggs, mlik, other staples, street food....almost anything you could possibly want! Easy to walk to town or catch a tuktuk. A much quieter stay than other places we've stayed in Stone Town.

Negative: We had a fantastic stay.

Summary: Quiet, clean, convenient location for exploring Stone Town, great for a family.

Positive: The communication with the owner was very fantastic. They were so helpful, and let us check in earlier. The place was very comfortable for us given that we had kids. The location is perfect. The apartment is well equipped. It's definitely worth it, and l would book it again. All the utilities were working perfectly. I recommend it to all who want to spend some time in Zansibar.
