**NEW**Kinross Residence is perfect for a family or friends getaway and is ideally located to chill and relax, or for walking and cycling - the choice is yours! Kinross Residence is located in the the heart of the town in what used to be the Townhall, now converted into apartments. This stunning interior-designed property definitely has the WOW factor on both the outside and inside. The property has brand new modern furnishings with windows and doors handmade in Scotland as well as the kitchen, which has been individually designed to suit the space. Kinross is a great location for a holiday, calmer than holidaying in a city, yet not too far from Perth either (approx 20 minute drive). Walks and cycle routes aplenty or just chill in the local coffee shops nearby and people watch.
This 2-bed dual-aspect apartment is set on the ground floor of the building with en-suite and double height accommodation with mezzanine deck in one of the double bedrooms. There are approx 4 steps up to the main entrance door and thereafter, you are on the ground floor. On entering the main entrance of the building, you arrive into the spacious communal hallway of the building. The door to the apartment is straight ahead. On entering the property you arrive in a small vestibule, which then leads into the main open-plan immaculately presented contemporary living/dining/kitchen area - where there has been attention to detail in the use of space. The seated section has an L-shaped sofa with a 50" flat-screen wall-mounted TV (with Freeview & Radio). The raised dining area seats 6 people (2/3 steps up to this) with an additional kitchen workspace/breakfast bar area which can seat an another two guests. From the living/dining area, there is a door leading into a square hall-way which has 3 adjacent doors leading from it; the double bedrooms on either side with the main bathroom in the middle.
Sleeping Quarters - Bedroom one to your left comprises of a large sumptuous double bedroom with a super king-size bed, built-in wardrobe and bedside cabinets on either side with integrated USB ports for today's modern-day traveller and also has a brightly decorated large en-suite with a double shower. The second double bedroom also has a super king-size bed (this one is a zip&link bed which can be split to make 2 singles), built-in wardrobe as well as the mezzanine area above (staircase leading up to this), which has two single beds. Ideal for a family. The main family bathroom is spacious and bright comprising of a bath and a separate double walk-in shower.
This apartment has been renovated to a high standard with a contemporary finish. The stunning design offers a sleek modern look which is perfect for every taste!

Summary: We were visiting from the US and were not completely sure of the area or the rental but decided to go with it based on reviews and we found a winner. This rental is beautifully designed, clean and stocked with everything you will need. Beds are comfortable and cozy and we enjoyed the dining area which we used each morning to eat and plan the day's activities. The location was perfect for us, we traveled all over from the coast to the Highlands and found home base to be a warm welcome after long days. Coffee shop across the street, grocery store and butcher shop (don't leave without trying at least one pie) a few blocks away and a variety of food options all within walking distance, I highly recommend trying Kirklands for dinner and then heading over to the brewery for a drink. If you are still on the fence after reading this review then hop on down and book this place fast before it gets away from you. Trust me, it's absolutely worth it!

Summary: It would be difficult to state all the superlatives worthy of this apartment! Firstly the apartment itself is furnished to an exceptionally high standard and upon arrival the apartment felt warm and inviting. As for its location there are all manner of stores, shops and cafes within 5 minutes walk including Butcher, Bakery, Fishmonger, Indian, Pizzeria, Fish and Chip Shop and not forgetting the excellent Coffee shop just across the road! A mere 10 minute walk away is a micro brewery - I can definitely recommend the King Slayer. In summary as per my review title this is a wee gem of an apartment and ideal for either 2 couples or small families - you wont be disappointed.

Summary: Very pleasantly surprised by this ultra-modern, well-appointed, comfortable apartment in a superbly convenient location in the heart of Kinross. Photos don't do it justice, especially the high ceilings and amazing windows. There were three of us plus one dog so enjoyed plenty of space. Lovely welcome pack on arrival which included treats for our dog. Excellent WiFi. Fabulous deli with great local produce, The Long Spoon Larder, across the street and open every day from 8 am as well as coffee shop, Indian, chippy and Chinese takeaways within a short walk which saved having to cook as apartment kitchen is quite limited. Lots of nearby parks for dog walks. Plenty of towels and linen (all high end). Shower gel and hand soap provided in bathrooms but only one loo roll in each! Also had to buy dishwasher tablets and spare bin bag which was a little inconvenient. On our wish list would also be a hand rail on steps up to front door (elderly parents found it difficult to visit) and a residents only parking sign as our allocated space kept getting taken.

Summary: The property was in excellent condition with high standards if cleanliness observed throughout the property. The property was well equipped and well decorated with furnishings to a high standard. The welcome pack was great and even treats for our dog which he very much enjoyed. The local area was great to explore with loch level only a short walk away. We will definitely be recommending the property to others and look forward to staying again for n the future.

Summary: I stayed with husband, 2 sons aged 15 and 20 and our labradoodle and the comfort and technology suited us all perfectly. The designer finishes and attention to detail we're superb. This was the best self catering accommodation I have ever stayed in. Amazing kitchen facilities too and loads of crockery and cooking utensils. Loved the sustainable toiletries provided and the coffee, biscuits and porridge were a nice touch too. Just across the street from a fab coffee shop which was icing on the cake. Highly recommend
