Summary: The location is excellent and close to all the attractions. The grounds were beautifully manicured with a golf course! Friendly staff.

Summary: This golf club and motel with lodge is a well kept secret. Staff, Crystal, was excellent. Food at lodge affordable, well prepared and delicious. The golf course amazing. Shhhhhh! The motel rooms were clean and of course the setting on the mountains is everything. The rooms are dated so don’t come expecting country club style. We will return.

Summary: A hidden gem worth a stay

Summary: Great place to stay

Summary: The restaurant was very good but has very limited hours. The nature trail needs to be better maintained as it is overgrown.

Summary: The resort was several miles outside of Clayton. It served our purpose well but the room was dated….the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. There was a hot water issue, sometimes we had some sometimes we didn’t. The spa, indoor pool, and other facilities were good. No golf as it rained the entire weekend but the course looked in decent shape. There was no one in the check in area when we checked out…didn’t open until 8.

Summary: Large rooms, great beds & linens. Rooms were very clean. However, property is an older property & rooms had a musty odor which made my asthma worse & allergies. Could not use amenities as we were there for just one night. Staff was friendly. Great price for the night.

Summary: I had expected something different but it's more of a motel with doors opening to the outside. We only met one staff person and the rooms smelled like they hadn't been aired out. However, the beds were very comfy and the linens were nice. I had to run the shower for a minute because the water was a little rusty.

Summary: Room was in good condition. Very disappointed that the heated pool was unavailable. That is the reason we booked this place.
Janet Nov 15, 2025 02:27:14 AM
Summary: Staff was great! Beautiful setting and grounds. However, the room, although comfortable was pretty worn, could use fresh carpeting and paint. Biggest complaint was out of force showers taken only one had decent hot water. Also no microwave in the room was an inconvenience. The food at the restaurant left much to be desired
