Summary: Just a tad noisy in halls outside room and the lift was broken and no assistance offered to take bags upstairs

Summary: Really enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and bigger than we expected. The hotel restaurant and lobby is really nice. Gym and spa are under construction and will only improve the hotel once opened! No parking on site but lots of safe, public car parks nearby with free overnight parking.

Summary: Centrally located hotel in town - near bus stop, and many shops. Bar/restaurant area is spacious and cosy. Rooms have adequate airconditioning/heating, coffee pod machine, and real mini milk bottles which is a lovely touch. Bathroom is renovated/clean, with quality amenities. Bed is comfortable- and staff friendly. Would highly recommend staying here!

Summary: Rooms have clearly been refurbished along with the rest of the property. They’re finished to a good standard. The doors/rooms could have slightly better noise insulation, as can hear the corridor quite clearly. They’ve supposedly refurbished the spa and gym, even if it’s not clear on their website that it’s there. We didn’t end up using because of that. Overall, nice place, would stay again.

Summary: Clean. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment. Room was large. Bed was comfy, pillows were not. Aircon did not seem to work but we were able to leave door to outside partly open. Overall good place to stay and the CEO answered my issue with a service charge very promptly which was appreciated. Would recommend a stay here.

Summary: The King's Head is a great base from which to explore the Cotswolds. On top of that the music slot on the Friday night we stayed was terrific, with local trio Parlor playing great versions of pop and soul classics.

Summary: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and the cookies weee delicious. Sunday lunch was very good and Margarita provided excellent service. Breakfast was very good and the coffee excellent. Again staff at breakfast were friendly and professional. Would definitely stay again.

Summary: Good check in very friendly receptionist. Room lovely, larger than expected, clean and full of charm, nice touch homemade cookies. Downside was view which looked onto a full skip of rubbish! Selected hotel for the rooftop bar, however this was closed, had we been advised of this would have probably selected something cheaper. Bar area is lovely, shame the cellar section in the pictures used to promote the hotel, seems to be only for events and functions.Dinner was amazing great food and service, breakfast however was very disappointing. For the price the continental was very limited no cheese or meat. Lots of choice on the hot options unfortunately when it came the bacon was burnt and the black pudding was overdone. Was asked if they could get us something else, but this was as they were clearing which was too late, no one came over during the time we were eating to check if everything was ok, they were too busy chatting! All in all mixed review lots of good but also plenty to improve on.
