4 Bedroom House in Allansford

Just past the Hopkins River you will find King's Head. Take the meandering private driveway cocooned by gums and lush green to your Hopkins Oasis.
Enter through the front door into the large hallway. From here head left down the stairs to the first bedroom, this rather unusual Queen room would be perfect to give parents a little space from the kids or for grandparents who might need a bit of space of their own. This room with its own split system also contains its own walk in shower as well as separate toilet. From here there are river views and you can access the gardens from your bedroom. Next door is the laundry with washing machine and a large drying area.
The other 3 bedrooms, all with their own split systems, can be found on the other side of the kitchen and dining room area. There is a room with 2 singles and built in robes. The second bedroom contains a queen also with built in robes. And finally you have the master suite. This room contains a King bed with seating area, large windows offering views over the river. There are built in robes as well as an additional walk in robe and large ensuite bathroom with walk in shower, toilet and double sinks.
The main bathroom contains a walk in shower and separate bath. There is also a separate toilet.
Now to the heart of this home, and undoubtedly the jewel in its crown. Head back up to the hallway and here you will find the large and airy open plan kitchen and dining room. This gorgeous area complimented by its high ceilings is surrounded by windows filling it with light and offering those breath taking views. Doing the dishes would almost be a joy rather than a chore! The kitchen contains a split system, 2 separate ovens, one of which doubles as microwave, dishwasher and a long L shaped counter providing oodles of space. The dining table has seating for 8 and a TV in the corner. From here the sliding door leads onto the first decking with outdoor seating and BBQ area.
The living room is off the kitchen and dining room up a small set of stairs. There is a large screen TV with L shaped sofa, lounge chairs and split system. But it is the wide expanse outside of this area that will capture your eyes and heart. Step out onto the decking and drink in the panoramic river views. The Hopkins River curves its ways around the house surrounded by green fields and wide skies as far as the eye can see. It is a view that cannot be matched.
Down from the decking you can access the large gardens surrounded by trees, offering you your privacy. There is a short path down to the lawn and brick seated area.
A lovingly renovated oasis high above the Hopkins River affording you privacy and unbelievable views with only a short drive into town. Kings Head is truly a unforgettable home just waiting to be enjoyed.

Summary: We had a great time staying at this property. It has modern conveniences and all the beds were super comfortable as was the couch.My only negative would be the fact that it did have a major ant problem On the last day, unfortunately even in the the fridge. Had to be super careful not to leave Food out as you would have the whole kitchen covered so I would recommend to the owners to get onto this problem soon.We had a great day. I wouldn’t consider the ants to impact our stay at all. The view is simply incredible.

Summary: The location was beautiful and the house was perfect for a group of friends to come together. There is so much to do in the region and having such a comfortable, luxurious base to enjoy it from was fabulous. The property management company was super responsive and friendly, which was genuinely appreciated.

Summary: Amazing view in the backyard! There are four rooms in the house but during winter time, one of the room maybe not so suitable to use, cause it’s a bit cold if using the washroom and the shower inside the room maybe also bit cold due to the wind from gap of door. Also, it’s a bit noisy probably from ventilator. It’ll be great if the house can provide more easy to see sign of the house, as we arrived quite late, it was too dark and GPS couldn’t work very well in Australia sometimes, so we have missed the entrance and have to stop and check where was the driveway to the house. Other than that, the stay was nice

Summary: This worked well for three families coming together for a short break away. It was clean, neat and tidy and had good facilities. The manager was quick to respond to questions and needs. The beach to walk on and out to see the ocean is just 3 mins drive away (ocean not for swimming there). Shops are 7 mins away. Plenty to see and do nearby. Very obvious that the gardens were once lovely. Great quiet location for a vacation.
