Summary: We had a lovely, muli-level room with pool and ocean views. The property was elegant, yet very comfortable and approachable. The staff was very attentive, without being intrusive, and the on-property dining options, and beautiful rooftop lounge and pool area were fantastic.

Summary: Ok Hotel, poor comfort (rock hard bed), Incredible loud sound from pump on AC in bedroom every 10 minutes. Asked for service and an “attempt” was made without result… Service ok, no explanation to the hotel, breakfast, or utilities upon check in. + for great DJ on rooftop. Overall overpriced for what you get, PLENTY of other great options in the Marbella area at same price level. This was like staying at a charter hotel, you even had people running out to secure sunbeds in the morning ….

Summary: We only stayed one night at Kimpton Los Monteros, but it was more than enough to leave us impressed. The hotel has a truly special atmosphere – perfect for switching off and enjoying a romantic break, even if it’s a short one. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome, with kind and attentive service. The room was beautiful, very comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches. Even though it was a brief stay, we had time to relax, enjoy the amazing breakfast, and simply disconnect from the routine. We definitely left wanting more, and we’ll be back for sure. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and charming experience in Marbella.

Summary: Los Monteros is an older style 5 star Hotel, it originally dates from 1963. There are parts which could do with a refresh, but it has a certain mid century charm that I like and the staff and service are excellent. The breakfast is good too. Our room dated from about 2002, but was still very clean and spacious. The beach club which is separate from the Hotel was a bit of a dissapointment, and all at extra cost, pretentious, but without the service to match and all seems a bit of a rip off when you're already paying top dollar for your room.
