Summary: Underwhelming especially considering the price. The swimming pool was a public swimming pool, not a 4 star standard. The bar food was not very nice. At breakfast sausages and bacon were empty. Check in was late. Staff were lovely.

Summary: Food here wasn’t good! I ordered Fish and Chips for dinner. When it arrived I could smell that something wasn’t right. After taking a small bite of fish, there was an overwhelming metallic taste. It was sent back but the subsequent burger ordered was less than average. The young waitress apologised but the restaurant manager didnt even make eye contact. Breakfast was being served from a secondary station and I’m afraid it was cold. I stay in hotels two nights a week and was looking forward to staying here. I will not be returning. I have given a score of two due to the room being clean.

Summary: I have a mixed review for this hotel - the hotel is beautiful, the decor is gorgeous. We booked a suite and it was 100% beautiful, the grounds are fantastic! However, the food really let it down, we had Afternoon tea and I asked for vegetarian and they gave me vegan, the scones were like two bricks (over cooked) I had to send them back. Although the dining room was fairly empty, it took 50 minutes to be served. We had drinks at the bar, only one bar lady on, she was quite rude and we could see she was under pressure, but no reason to take out on customers. We had dinner in the bar, both starters were delicious, however, my main was ravioli and it was dripping in butter, butter sauce, it was just oil and rubbery. Breakfast the next morning, same thing, to many staff not enough service. Had to ask twice for my breakfast. I went to get scrambled eggs, when I took a bite they just tasted of fish (I'm vegetarian), I felt sick all day after the mouthful - someone didn't clean the dishes correctly and obviously oudored the eggs. I am really disappointed with the food this weekend, it's a fabulous hotel and the room was stunning but the food really brought it down. The bathroom could of been a bit cleaner in the room also (flies in the shower). It's a bitter sweet review as the appearance of the hotel and the glamour of the room lived up to expectations but sadly the food and dining services did not. I would go back and book the room again but I'd prefer to dine elsewhere.

Summary: Located outside the city in quiete area. Restaurants ok and the same with the rooms. But they did have some problems with the electricity . just during our stay ( 2 night ) with power went 3 times and one them 1½ hours
