Positive: If I could rate this a 100/10 I would. The pictures of this villa do not do it justice. It seemed brand new, so clean and so comfortable. I loved the projector for watching movies, the rooms were large and there's a lovely outdoor area to eat meals and enjoy the quietness of this beautiful island. The location is spot on, only a 5 minute walk to the beach and so many restaurants and cafes. There's an awesome convenience store at the top of the street (1 minute walk) that has incredible options of home made food like onigiri and sandwiches but also some great frozen options if you want to cook a bbq. We were worried that most of the restaurants were only open for lunch but there are a decent amount of options open for dinner and so reasonably priced - I had the best katsu curry on this island out of everywhere in Japan. There's also a really cute bakery at the top of the street with a sweet lady that makes pastries that are better than anything you could have in France. Our flight into Naha was on a day the ferry was not operating to the island due to maintenance but the property owner was able to provide a boat for us and picked us up from the port which was so helpful. It was worth every cent to be on this beautiful island as long as we could be.

Negative: That I didn't book a longer trip.

Positive: The villa is very modern and quite new with excellent facilities. It was comfortable with plenty of space for four people. The apartment was only a short walk from the beach and next door to the only grocer on the island. The host was fantastic - he picked us up from the ferry, took us to an open beach and kept us informed about the fast boat cancellations. He also gave us a lift back to the ferry when we had to change our checkout day.

Negative: Unfortuately the beach was closed during our stay due to rougher waters from the Taiwan typhoon. We were still able to find a safe place to swim but could not partake in the water sport activities. Also, there were very few options for eating out so we had to cook using some food bought from the grocer.

Summary: The best accommodation on the island! A lovely new apartment.

Positive: Amazing accommodation with super equipment, garden, a lot of space and everything you need! Supermarket is 1min away, the beach 2min. Service was the best we had on our whole Japan trip. Highly recommended!

Positive: The house looks to be brand new, it’s very clean, it has everything you would look for in a home rental, everything works. It has 2 bedrooms with 4 comfortable beds. The location is around the corner from the only grocery store in Aharen, and a few blocks from several beaches.
