Negative: It was a little out dated but we made it work. The walls in the corners near the ceiling needed just a bit more attention to be cleaned.

Positive: Quiet location. A short drive to downtown Southwest Harbor. We had a family of deer visiting us in the morning. The place was clean and cozy.

Positive: Everything was well-stocked in the kitchen and bathroom. I really enjoyed having a whole house to ourselves, with no next door neighbors. The location is also great, not too far drive to the main Acadia National Park. Geoff was very responsive when we encountered some small issues.

Negative: We had a small hiccup where the beds weren't made/laundry done from the previous stay. However, Geoff was very apologetic and immediately got someone over the next morning to clean the house. Because it's a wood house, be prepared for woody-ish smell, but if you turn on the fans, it helps dissipate the smell quite a bit.
