Positive: House was perfect, very clean and spacious . Great surroundings.

Negative: No wifi, didn’t let us use it not too sure why. So throughout our stay we had no phone connection and WiFi.

Positive: clean spacious cottage which was perfect for our extended families to stay in. could have done with a bit more lighting outside as it was very dark on the driveway and the bin area plus the bins were not clear which one was recycling etc. and some more firelighters as it was tricky to get it going.lack of wifi drove the teenagers insane lol, the complimetry box was really nice with the coffee and teabags. A list of all the cottages and the walks would be quite handy too, the hotel facilities were beautiful too. xx

Negative: wi fi and more lighting outside, possible torch for outside would have been quite handy. some of the plates and tins had dried on food on from previous people but I know it wou;d be hard to check all the pots.

Summary: beautiful cottage just up the road from Lake Windermere.

Positive: Great provision of crockery and cutlery and perfect size dining table for 10. Lovely forest setting and view to the front of the house. The lakeside water sport area is excellent. Well maintained and safe. And the pool is fabulous for children.

Negative: Not such a great view from the back. The unused and dilapidated kennels were a little spooky.

Positive: The cottage was a great space and had plenty of room for our group of adults, children and dogs! It was nicely decorated and comfortable.

Negative: The property is in need of a thorough clean as carpets were dirty and there were cobwebs everywhere (I appreciate there will be some with the age of the property but there were lots!). The property also needs a bit of TLC as mould around windows and lots of scuff marks on walls needing a paint touch up.
