Positive: This accommodation is something really special, and we felt completely comfortable during our stay. The bungalow is brand new, and the host is incredibly kind and motivated - he really wants everything to be perfect for his guests! We did a small tour around Sidemen and the surrounding rice fields with him, and he explained so many interesting things along the way. Breakfast is freshly prepared, and every evening you can choose what you'd like and what time you want it the next morning. It's delivered directly to your bungalow, with a beautiful view — and we got two pots of coffee every morning! You can also order lunch or dinner there, which was great as well. The owner is very helpful and can assist with arranging a driver (taxi) or scooter rental if you need one. We also gave him our laundry, and the next day he told us the laundry service was too busy — so he washed and dried everything himself, which we thought was incredibly kind. The area is beautiful, and the village itself is lovely — the rice fields are just a short walk away.

Positive: I’ve had a wonderful day at Kastawa Villa, located between Sidemen and the rice fields. The bungalow has just been built and is very comfortable, with everything you need to feel right at home. The bathroom is spacious and clean. Astawa is a fantastic host who kindly offered to be my guide for the day, driving me around to show me the rice fields, Sidemen and Gembleng Waterfalls. He was so kind and even helped me find an ATM the following day. Astawa was very accommodating and generous with his time. This villa is truly a hidden gem and one of the best places I’ve stayed in Bali. Also, there’s a delicious warung called Puriasih right next door.

Positive: It’s newly built bungalow with really big comfortable bed, and breakfast was so delicious of local pancakes. The owners were so friendly and helpful, it has great views also and quiet place on an evening so I slept so nicely.

Negative: Just for information the path up to the property is a little steep, so I would recommend to contact the owner to help you on arrival

Summary: Comfortable relaxing and friendly hosts 😊
