Positive: The property was clean and very private. I wouldn’t really even know it was there unless you were looking for it. The rooftop view was nice as well.

Summary: Kasa Lantern had everything we needed for a comfy 4-night stay.

Positive: Great location, very nice, confortable, large for NYC, studio. Nicely decorated, very pleasant building. Very convenient system with no key. Effective communication, very pleasant and reactive responses through messages.

Negative: Equipped kitchenette with no glass to drink water. It took the management 4 days to inform me they could not provide a glass. No one on-site, so any issue is managed through messages. And I have had a few in addition to no glass, no electricity one morning, no WiFi another one, double expenses charged. A bit too much to be handled with no human being. Lightening system in the studio can be improved.

Positive: I had a phenomenal stay at this property. Check-in was completed virtually and I was able to access the building and my room with a unique code -- no need to carry around room keys! The room was clean and equipped with a coffee maker, coffee pods, and two complementary water bottles. Guest services were readily available to assist me via text and there is also a handy virtual front desk with info on the property and surrounding area.

Negative: Their smoke sensors went off when we took a shower or a bath.
