Positive: Vlicho's a nice spot on the Eastern coast of Lefkada: it's calm and quiet. It's nonetheless in a strategic area since it's close to the roads that lead to the other famous beaches and areas of the island. The studio was very clean and well furnished. George and Maria (the hosts) were the best: they're extremely friendly, kind and ready to help. They even gave us some pieces of cakes, some biscuits etc. more than once. I wish them all the best. You can easily park in the internal street in front of the studio. I absolutely recommend the Karavias Vlicho Studio for a trip of a week tops to Lefkada! :)

Negative: The only two weak points of the studio are: the studio is maybe a bit small for two people for more than a week. You have to consider that you cannot swim in the sea just in front of Vlicho because the water's not that clean... It looks more like a lake than the sea. You have therefore to drive to the closest beaches (e.g. Desimi, which is at a 10 minute drive from the flat). The view is nonetheless fascinating :)

Summary: Accommodation in Lefkada with a very good price/quality ratio and the best hosts :) recommended!

Positive: My husband used the apartment as a base while working on our boat at Vliho Boat Yard, so the location was perfect. The apartment was very small but well equipped and clean. It was ok for one person, but a bit cozy for the two of us when I joined him for a few days. Still great value, and we would stay there again. Maria was a wonderful hostess, very friendly and generous.

Negative: Generally the apartment was quiet considering it is fairly close to a road. However there was sometimes some noise from a neighbouring apartment through an adjoining door.

Positive: Absolutely fantastic stay at this apartment. Spotlessly clean and fully equipped for everything we needed for our stay. The hosts Maria & George could not do enough for us, generous to a fault and spoilt us with Greek treats each evening and a lovely leaving gift of boxed honey and biscuits. The fridge had fruit and water inside and plenty of coffee, toast, savoury and sweet treats. Thank you so much for our stay and cannot wait to return. Best Regards to you both.

Negative: The fact we could not stay longer.... We will definitely be returning.
