Summary: Electricity went out one night and never got back on. No AC, no charging of phones... Very inconvenient. The staff have me a new room in the hotel next door for the night after.

Summary: Overall would not return to the property but did have a relatively pleasant stay PROS: - Great proximity to Karakoy, Galata and Taksim! - Room was clean, bathroom is modern and spacious. Housekeeping is great! - Front desk staff is great - AC worked well - Good value CONS: - The immediate area next to the hotel is residential and can feel a bit dirty (ie there was a dead rat around the corner one morning), you’re also in proximity to a mosque and can hear the Adhan broadcast - Wifi is an open network and very slow - There was no hand soap provided so we had to buy a bar which is more of an inconvenience than anything - The entrance to the hotel building is not locked. We were on an upper floor so still felt secure but on a ground floor room I would not have been comfortable
