Positive: Fantastic location for birding. The caretakers were excellent to talk with and the room was immaculately clean! Refreshing pool and a very good trail system is connected to the grounds for hiking. Many birds right on the property. The interior of the mango suite looked very new. There were some gnats in the evenings, but the screened porch solved that inconvenience.
Negative: More native flowering plants or a hummingbird feeder would go a long way to getting nice birds like Azure Crowned hummingbird to regularly come in the the property. We were thrilled to see Rusty Sparrows spending time at the margins of the lot, so hopefully they are going easy on pesticide use in landscaping.

Positive: Beautiful grounds, definitely feels like a private escape. Enjoyed the pool with floaties, corn hole. Nice to have a volleyball net and ball (we would have played but the grass was uneven and bugs!).
Negative: With the grass- there are deep grooves cut in (likely for drainage), which makes tripping a hazard. Also, many small bug bites again likely from the grass. Nothing really within the control of staff.
Summary: Restful treehouse with everything you need for a quiet stay.

Positive: It was so nice to have our own little villa in the rainforest. The area felt so secluded but also very clean and safe. We also had trails to a waterfall and cave towards the back of the property which was great for exploring when we didn’t feel like driving. The room was well stocked and we had everything we needed for our stay. We were really impressed by how well the screens kept the bugs out and we loved laying in the hammock in the screened in porch. It was a bit cold to swim in the pool but we liked heading there in the evenings to relax and enjoy the evening. It was also wonderful to use the grill by the pool and super easy.
Negative: Nothing, it was really wonderful.
Summary: Relaxing, clean, comfortable, secluded, and a great home base for rainforest adventuring.
