Positive: This was a last minute unexpected booking for us for one night. The hotel is clean and tidy, the staff are kind and helpful. The property has simply seen better days and was a bit aged (inside and out) - It needs an overall refresh. This issue is possibly a hangover result of the pandemic effect.

Positive: The staff speak very little English but applaud them for trying and assisting us. The first room they gave was very tired and old, and we requested a change of room and they happily obliged. We were happy with the services provided by Mr Shoji and Ms Toko. The waitresses are also friendly and accommodating. The location is great to visit Kamogawa Ocean Park.

Negative: It would be nice if the room and bathroom had more clothes hangers. The humidifier was not working. Had informed the front desk but nothing was done.

Positive: The entrance to the hotel is beautiful and classy. Staff were friendly and accommodating and even though they spoke little English, they were able to use Google translate to communicate effectively. There were lots of options for breakfast at the buffet. The view of the beach from our room was amazing! So beautiful! It was only a short walk from a Coco's restaurant which is a western style restaurant. The food there was delicious and great for my fussy Aussie kids.

Negative: The hotel is quite old and there are some parts that need updating/ maintenance (e.g. outer walls & pool); however rooms are very clean. We were not able to get into the restaurant at night for dinner. You must need to reserve this in advance. You also need to select your time for breakfast when checking in. You are limited to this time (an hour window) for eating breakfast and then are asked to leave.
