Summary: Very poor check in process from Sunny. She was so busy griping about my using Expedia to book my stay that she ignored my request for a walk in shower. We had to come back down and request another room.

Summary: Major problems were the bathroom and its amenities. Mold on shower curtain and around top edge of bathtub. Sink was stained. Bathroom tile missing around faucet handles. Towels were very thin and only had 2 sets. Room problems - refrigerator froze every in it and we could not adjust it. When turning on tv, came on at full volume each time tv turned on. No free parking. However, being on the mayo subway was the most important thing to us. Took us 5-10 minutes walking in subway to get to the mayo building we needed. Access to the subway offered access to food and numerous other shops.

Summary: We were in Rochester for medical appointments and so the convenience to the Mayo clinic was of utmost importance. We were well received by hotel staff and found the room clean and ready and comfortable. Compared to some hotels there were sufficient plug ins to power and charge our devices. It was a good stay..

Summary: Very convenient to the hospital. They had wheelchairs, which was super. The rooms were a little small but clean and had everything you need.

Summary: Clean room. Beds were horribly uncomfortable. Feather pillows on the bed, which posed some issues with allergies. Chair in the room wheel broke, thankfully we weren't charged. The staff were very friendly. Pool was wonderful. Hot tub was great, perfectly hot. Handicap accessible pool area. Parking situation is a little iffy, but manageable.

Summary: The only reason we stay at the Kahler Grand is it’s close to Mayo Clinic. I feel it’s expensive just to stay there for less than a day.

Summary: We've spent a lot of time in Rochester and stayed at quite a few hotels. Overall, this is my second favorite. The Kahler is a pretty decent hotel located extremely conveniently to the main Mayo campus. If you need to be at the main campus, you really can't get more convenient than this hotel. We had exceptional service with the front desk and much of the other staff but much less good service from one of the valets, resulting in the average service rating. The hotel was pretty clean, and very pretty. It has a nice vending market for snacks and incidentals, but unfortunately, none of the stuff I needed. As far as comfort, the bed and chair were a little less than comfortable. All in all, you'll probably be satisfied with your stay.

Summary: Bery good but parking ito unload still a problem. Basic room has only desk chair and desk does not have light/-hard to work in room. But still the best location
