Positive: Lovely old style hotel, very clean and modern. Buffet Breakfast was sensational. very fresh and a large variety. The vibe of the hotel was great as it appears to attract businesses/wedding events. Onsite parking was fantastic, I think was 1500 Yen, but can't remember. The room was great, although dated was comfortable and spacious with breathtaking views of the volcano however it was just unfortunate that we were there with bad weather at the time. Beds were reasonably comfortable. Close to main shopping centre, lots of variety across the road. Definitely would stay again if we visit the area again.

Negative: Nothing.

Summary: Would like to have stayed longer.

Positive: A lovely viewing room on the 12th floor just to chill and enjoy the atmosphere. Lovely staff and food. Plus a free shuttle bus to and from the train station.

Positive: Nice view of Sakurajima at the higher levels . Good location next to a shopping mall. Staff were helpful , even when they had difficulty with English.

Negative: Fruits at breakfast were not fresh and limited. Walls and ceiling in onsen could do with some cleaning .

Positive: The staff was incredibly nice, helpful and always available. No waiting for check-in or check-out. The view in the Sakurajima-facing room my friends had was amazing.

Negative: My room smelled badly. The air-con in my room also smelled like mold so I didn't use it. In general it's obvious the hotel has the best times behind it and could use some renovation.
