Summary: I really wanted to enjoy my stay, but a few things fell short. The road to the hotel badly needs maintenance—it’s nearly impossible without a 4x4. Food options were limited, and my steak arrived nearly raw despite ordering medium. The room amenities were sparse for the price point, which felt disappointing. That said, the staff was very friendly, and the waterfall tour was a highlight.

Summary: Kafen Hotel was a really nice and relaxing stay on a well maintained and landscaped property. The room I stayed in the largest of their Bubble rooms and enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The only thing I disliked was all of the hair I found all over the room. As many have stated there is no hot water but I managed. Overall I had a great experience and there was a nice amount of things to do in the area.
