Summary: Cute and cozy stay. the cottage was the perfect size for a weekend getaway with my bestie. Bed was comfy, water was hot, no complaints about the cottage. We loved being able to sip coffee on the porch and look at the cows grazing in the field. Close to harbor springs and petoskey. Only thing that surprised us a little was the proximity of the other buildings, we were surrounded by a house, 2 story 2 car garage, shed, and another cottage, whereas I thought we were going to be a little more isolated. Otherwise perfect stay!

Summary: Great experience!! Perfect little cottage for our visit to Burt Lake for a family reunion. Our host was exceptional. Had an issue with the refrigerator upon arrival (10 PM). Called our host and he arrived in 10 minutes and fixed the problem. Very impressive, and most appreciated!! 5 Star experience!! Highly recommend this property and these hosts!! Well done!!

Summary: The property is quiet and clean and there is some charm to it. There were no big errors in the listing, but it did not identify the shortcomings of the place. First, the bedroom is on a lower level--you have to go upstairs to use the bathroom. Second, the bathroom is teeny, maybe 5x5 with a shower that's about 27" square. Third, the furnishings are so 1980s and the 21st century has not arrived. It is fine there is no TV, but also no WiFi. The bed is old fashioned mattress & box spring. A usable kitchen, but no trash can and no place to put groceries. So it worked for 2 nights, but less than ideal.

Summary: This place was exactly as advertised and exactly what I needed for my weekend away. I really enjoyed the bucolic setting on the farm, and it was perfectly situated for all of the little trips I wanted to take. The building is charming, it’s nice to see the cows and the chickens and the cat outside. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this spot
