Positive: The bedroom, living room/den, bathroom and balcony "Junior Suite" is located within the spacious, comfortable and welcoming large apartment of Marc and Catherine, on the top floor of a nice apartment building. They are so friendly and welcoming, and give you plenty of space to share their home with you. They had coffee and breakfast set for us each morning on the terrace, with fresh bread and croissants from the local bakery, local jams, jellies and honey, fruit, cereal, yogurt and eggs made to order by Marc, and fresh-squeezed orange juice by Cath. Just tell them what you want! This is what we Americans consider a "bed and breakfast" type stay, where you get to know your hosts, and feel like you are visiting old friends or family. They offered to give us a walking tour around Lyon, gave us recommendations on how to get around on the public transport, best places to see, their favorite restaurants and experiences, made reservations for us for dinner, and met us for drinks at Piquin on our last night. It was a fun and memorable stay, and we look forward to returning and joining our new friends Cath and Marc in Lyon for a tour of nearby wine country! The architecture, scenery, food, and friendliness of everyone we met will have us returning to the vibrant city of Lyon to see more!

Negative: The only thing to mention would be their neighborhood is about a bit away from the main tourist sites, (use the public transportation), but this is authentic Lyon, with diverse neighborhoods all around them.

Positive: Our hosts, Catherine and Marc, were the best! They went above and beyond to make our stay in Lyon superb. The junior suite was very comfortable and we look forward to a return stay. The location is close to the train station and a 15 minute walk into the center of town.

Summary: We could not have asked for a more enjoyable stay.
