Positive: Everything. Location was magical just in the middle of Ella Rock and Little Adam’s Peak. Thilini and her family made everything easy for us and were willing to arrange everything so that we could have the best experience. We wish we could have stayed for more than 2 nights. Hopefully we will come back! Thank you!

We stayed for three nights in a beautiful and spacious family room and felt at home from the very first moment. This unique bungalow, built into the hillside, offers breathtaking views – the kind you usually only see on postcards. Every morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast made with fresh, local ingredients – a perfect and heartfelt start to each day. What truly sets this place apart is the warmth and hospitality of the host family. You can feel the love and care in every little detail. Whether it was tips on local attractions, help with planning day trips, or arranging transport – they were always there to assist. A special shout-out to the friendly uncle, who offers a personal tuk-tuk service with great charm and reliability. The spirit of the Jungle Cave Family embraced us from the beginning and made us feel like part of their family. We give this place the highest possible rating – with a star on top – and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a special place full of heart, peace, and natural beauty. Positive: We had one of our best stays in Sri lanka with the incredibly friendly family at Jungle Cave. The wonderful days started with a free pick-up from the train station from “the uncle”, then we were warmly welcomed by the family and had an impromptu dinner. We had very comfortable bed in the beautiful room with a view directly into the valley - framed by Ella Rock and Little Adams Peak. From the terrace you could watch birds and other animals or let your gaze wander into the valley on the cozy beanbag. It is the perfect distance to Ella Town (10 min by tuktuk, 40 min on foot) and all other attractions. In short: when you stay here, you stay in a wonderfully quiet accommodation where you can be sure that you will be warmly and caringly looked after by the family! 15/10 stars, absolute recommendation. (There is also a fridge!)

Positive: The room is very new, clean, great bathroom and layout. The view is amazing! Breakfast was better than five star buffets. And the host family were the sweetest people we’ve met. They were very responsive via WhatsApp at all times and uncle was very kind and gave us a few lifts into and back from the city centre in his tuk tuk. This will be one of our best memories from our visit to Sri Lanka!
