Summary: This was our second long stay, and was equally outstanding thanks to the outstanding host - who is a cut above and extraordinarily responsive. The home is very clean, well-stocked with everything needed to prepare gourmet meals, and is located in a wonderful, quiet and peaceful Carlsbad neighborhood. Truly a gem.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay at this property, especially the pool and patio area. The amenities met or exceeded all of our needs. We would highly recommend this property, and hope to stay again if it’s available for our next visit to the area.

Summary: This old town charmer is located in the hills close to and west of Carlsbad Village allowing for some great ocean sunsets and quick access to popular locations, making it a great location friendly and comfortable home. The house is situated in a great walking community with friendly people and wide roads with bike paths. Great overall experience.

Summary: We stayed in the house for 3 months this summer and quickly became attached to it. The flow of the house is so nice. The living room is a good size and the furniture in the living room is comfortable. The dining room and kitchen are spacious and extremely functional. There are more than enough pots/pans/bowls and dish wares for the finest chef or family use. Both bedrooms are comfortable and the beds were fantastic having new mattresses we slept well every night. The bathroom is a shower/tub combination and functional as there is a small cabinet that worked great for our cosmetics, etc. The outside patio and pool are are more than spacious. There is a sofa seating area with a lounge chair and a dining table for 6. Also there are 3 umbrella's to use on a sunny day if you're looking for shade. Ross, the owner, met us upon arrival and checked in with us twice during our stay which we really enjoyed. He is a very friendly guy and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. At one point the ice maker quite working and he had it repaired immediately. At the end of our stay, he wanted to know what things he could do to improve the property so I know whom ever stays here next will have a great experience!

Summary: Our stay at Ross's couldn't have been better. The place was very spacious and private. It's only a couple miles to Carlsbad Village (great restaurants and shops) and the beach. It was a great place to gather with our 3 adult children who live in the area. Ross (owner) and Irina (manager) were wonderful and very accommodating. The neighborhood is in a very nice area of Carlsbald, convenient to all the grocery stores and shopping areas. There's nice hiking trails close by. Easy access to the interstate 5 which takes you to downtown San Diego and LA. We'll definitely stay there again when were back for another visit with our kids. It was the perfect place to spend 6 months.

Summary: This property was perfect the price was right and did not disappoint full functional kitchen and lots of storage for a 30+ day stay. Ross the host was great provided essentials and friendly. Place is only About 1 1/2 miles to the bEach and Carlsbad Village this was the perfect interim place to stay would my home was being worked on - thanks for having great properties and hosts like this

Summary: The home was lovely. The location was ideal. Only minutes to Carlsbad Village going one direction or Macy's and movies theaters going the other direction. Not only was the home comfortable and spacious it also has and incredible gourmet kitchen. There was plenty of closet space in both bedrooms. The outdoor entertain space was very large and included and salt water pool. The owner Ross could not have been nicer. The place even came fully stocked with everything that you could possibly need. I felt fortunate to have found this rental.

Summary: I’ve stayed here twice, and i would stay here again. Ross is incredibly kind, and brought by an extra blanket because he knew it was expected to get unusually cold while I was in town. I feel at home in Carlsbad, and this house has a lot to do with it.
