Positive: Very cozy and homely stay. I would especially recommend it to digital nomads and people who are planning to stay a longer time. Zack, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming, shared interesting stories and also helped out practically by giving a lot of valuable advice and even lended some equipment. Kitchen was basic but had everything needed. WiFi was fast and rarely had problems. There were other travelers staying over, so it also had a nice social vibe. Overall it felt more like staying over with a friend than a hotel.
Negative: Everything was great for me. If you're not used to night prayers from mosques, I would suggest to get good earplugs. Also consider the distance from center, as you're mostly go there by taxi (it's cheap in Kuching).

Positive: Zack is so kind and helpfull with everything. His place is amazing and it is in the quieter part of the city. He has some cute cats and a beautiful garden. The citycenter is also easily accessable and here you can experience some real local life with kind foodstands and people. The room and the bathroom is big, and looked like freshly renovated, I liked the designe.

Positive: The room was really comfy and spotless same as the bathroom and the shared kitchen. Zack is a really nice host, friendly and helpful with every request you have. He gives you a lot of tourist information. People in the neighbourhood are quite friendly too.
Negative: Be ready for an early wake up with the roaster and the mosque. If you're ok with that, it's a really nice place to stay.

Positive: Jazepuri is a real home from home and we were made to feel most welcome. Zek the owner was extremely friendly and helpful - his advice re trips, transport and places to eat was spot on. We loved the comfortable bed - the best so far and the air conditioning and ceiling fan keep the room very cool. We had use of the well equipped kitchen and really appreciated the instant hot & chilled water filter machine. Zek provided tea & coffee and was very obliging letting us leave our bags after checkout. Jazepuri is in a lovely friendly residential neighbourhood only a short walk away from the Sanpan river boat crossing to the city.
Negative: Nothing - it was all as we expected and more…
