Positive: Very kind and helpful personel. Mapula helped us to organize helikopter ride above Okawango Delta in few hours. Priscilla was also helpful and friendly. We spend good time there. Nice rooms and clean, equipped in addicional blancets for night. We even had a microwave in our room.

Positive: We stayed one night at Jayla Homestay and it was excellent. We had two rooms, both spacious, comfortable, and clean. You can cook your own meals if you wish, or enjoy the menu they offer. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming — not just in a host–guest way, but also by chatting and sharing experiences. There’s also a common area where you can relax or meet other travelers. Totally recommended!

Positive: Ma Pula was such a wonderful hostess, making us feel right at home. The room was so neat and clean, and the bed.... absolutely comfortable!!

Negative: The cutlery and crockery needs attention as it was very limited.

Positive: Clean, comfortable and quiet, on the outskirts of Maun. Really nice staff, who will help and advise you the best they can.

Negative: The cat is very friendly, but hard to keep off the table. If you're off your guard for 2 seconds, it's got it's nose in your food. Once you've kicked it off the table 10 times, it might find a frog to play with. Once the frog is exhausted, the cat will be back at your food. I left the place with a stomach issue, lasting about 2 weeks, but this might be a coincidence.

Positive: Jayla Homestay is a treasure! Mmapula, the owner, chef and tour operator was very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and good value. What was exceptional were the home cooked meals. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious and varied. Highly recommend.
