Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Lovely welcome from the host with a complimentary bottle of wine and some gorgeous homemade jam waiting. It was clean, comfortable with everything you needed for a luxury break. The location was idyllic and the host provided us with tips of beautiful places locally to visit. After a couple of fantastic days out visiting St Tropez (catching the ferry from Saint Maxime, which was not only easy but very enjoyable), and Tourtour the next, we spent relaxing evenings enjoying the lovely outside area of the apartment. Although the accommodation was attached to the hosts home it felt very private and we could easily relax into the space. Would completely recommend!

Negative: It was incredibly hot during our stay and there were no fans available, the accommodation was fairly cool inside but I was a little uncomfortable with the heat at night, however, I am British and simply not used to such temperatures. Also, a notice in the accommodation asked us to take our trash with us. We were not sure what we would do with it if we took it and this seemed a strange request. Although we were moving on to another destination in France we did wonder what we would do if we were flying straight back to UK. We did bag it all up and left it outside but left feeling concerned as to what we should have done. Still no deal breakers, a lovely comfortable stay.
