Positive: Right in the historical area of Elvas, with very good views of the city and the countryside, this apartment is reached through a beautiful old staircase. It is spacious and luminous, and has a fantastic terrace from where we have a 360 degrees view of the city. It is well equipped, and everything is almost brand new. It has been recently renovated and, while it is still gaining its own character, it is well-done and practical for several days in the city. The apartment was in an immaculate state of cleaness, and the host is fantastically kind and attentive.

Negative: As with most of Portuguese houses, winter cold is part of the experience. The apartment has ACs in the two double rooms and the living room, and an oil heater in the smaller bedrooms. It takes some time for the flat to warm up, but after that it can become comfortable. It will surely be good for the summer heat, when the houses are cool and comfortably refreshing.
