Summary: I had a great room with a view of the harbour and downtown. The restaurants had great food, the valets were always warm, friendly helpful and fast! The turndown service the first night with the Newfoundland chocolate bar was a great touch and I made sure to stop at the chocolate cafe in town and buy more chocolate to take home. Loved the decor, it was the main reason I booked the hotel and it did not disappoint!

Summary: This is a wonderful hotel, well located. The food and drink offerings were excellent and less expensive than most downtown establishments. I paid $500 a night for the privilege. You’d think at that rate The JAG could have provided Cottonelle rather recycled cardboard. Seriously.

Summary: Weather was great. Hotel is beautiful, lived the esthetic and the staff were helpful. Night life was good and took a walk through the pedestrian mall in the street downtown.

Summary: This is a really fun rock n' roll hotel that was more Vegas than we expected, but still mostly enjoyable. We stayed three nights and loved the room, the pool, and the hot tub. We ate from one of the restaurants once and it was nothing to write home about. The one thing that will likely deter us from staying at the Jag again is the fact that we had difficulties getting our room cleaned. Every day we'd go out for the day around 11 or noon and come back around 6 to rest and shower before going back out for dinner - but on this 6pm return, on both days, our room wasn't cleaned and restocked. I've actually never had this happen. The first time they said they were too busy and the second day they said too many people called in sick so they didn't get to it. Then they called back and said we had refused service (not at all true). Both days they did clean our room while we were out at dinner, but it pushed us out of our room early both days as the staff (understandably!) wanted to finish their shift and go home. We mentioned the frustration at check-out, but our check-out agent didn't bat an eye. It was strange. Is this a regular practice? It's a pricey and high-end boutique hotel, I was quite surprised by the carelessness.
