Positive: Good breakfast delivered to the room. A lot of space in the apartement. Kids loved the pool. Peaceful view over olive tree garden. Nice beaches nearby.
Negative: Location is great if you have a car, without might be challenging to move around, however there is a bus stop right next to the property, but we have not used it.

Positive: We had a truly wonderful week staying in one of the Istron Maisonettes. The maisonette was spotlessly clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The private terrace was a particular highlight – perfect for quiet mornings with a coffee and peaceful evenings overlooking the surrounding hills and sea. The location is ideal. The use of the lovely beach and Pool at the Istron Bay Hotel a short 5 minutes drive away was an added bonus. One of our favourite discoveries was the excellent local bakery just two minutes away – we visited every morning for fresh bread and pastries (see attached photo). Even better, there’s a traditional taverna directly in front of the property where we had some of the best meals of the trip – warm, welcoming, and full of authentic Cretan flavour (photo also attached). The atmosphere throughout our stay was quiet and relaxed, and the hosts were friendly and helpful without ever being intrusive. Their local tips really enhanced our experience and helped us explore more of this beautiful part of Crete. This maisonette was a perfect base for our holiday – combining comfort, charm, and convenience in one of the most scenic areas of the island. We’d love to return in the future. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Positive: We were lucky to be upgraded to the Istron luxury villas (Daphne) and we especially enjoyed the lovely pool with salt water (hence not with many chemicals) that our children spent hours in. Also very comfortable beds, well working air conditioning and not the least: the kindest and most attentive host in Dimitris and other staff.
Negative: We think of this place as 10 out of 10, but can mention that upon arrival a few of the plates and cups were not entirely clean and also the kitchen was quite basically equipped (e.g. no espresso machine, no cheese grinder, blender and so on).
