Summary: The garden, the terrasse and the garden chalet have everything one might hope for. An island in the river where we felt safe and free to enjoy nature, the river, the pool. The whole region is amazing: Signal du Chioula, l'Etang du Laurenti, Camon, Collioure, les Orgues d'Ille-sur-Têt, Mirepoix, Carcassonne... the local markets with tasty products and a happy hippy feeling. The 2 connected houses have a lot of potential, with lots of rooms, beautiful ancient furniture (just some chairs and armchairs in need of repairing), comfortable beds, The owners gradually invest in renovating the family inherited property, to bring it back to the state of its glory days. The only downside was that before our arrival there was no time for a proper cleaning, but I hope that does not happen often. Very kind owners and caretakers.
