Summary: The house was wonderful! We went up with a group of adults. Every couple had their own queen or king size room and private bath. The household amenities were spectacular and perfect. We can’t want to go back!

Summary: Thank you for opening up such a beautiful home to us. Everything anyone could need is here! Clean, roomy, and quiet. 12 adults stayed for annual fall fishing trip. Perfect weather, full moon AND northern lights all right out your front window. Fishing was great with many 4+ pound small mouth bass - all released. Dock space held 4 boats with ease. Brooke was a pleasure to work with making sure we had everything we needed. Thank you again for a perfect vacation spot. We can't wait to return!

Summary: Great home with multiple areas for people to talk, play games, sit to eat. The patio leaves a bit to be desired compared to other places we've stayed but totally doable. The beach and lawn were great for swimming and yard games.

Summary: This was our second stay at Island Bay Lodge. We returned because of the perfect setting. Everything is absolutely top-notch. Our group consisted of twelve brothers, nephews, and friends who are avid fishermen. The dock handled 4 boats with ease. Fishing was incredible-bass, northern, walleye and musky. Perfect views and weather. Northern lights out in full color for 45 minutes one night. Very comfortable for a large crowd. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful home. We can't wait to return. Everything was better than advertised.

Summary: Our family had the most incredible weekend at Island Bay Lodge! The hosts were incredibly gracious and the home was exactly as described (if not even better than expected) Our family of 15 had plenty of space to spread out when we wanted and the perfect space to come together for family meals or game nights! The access to the lake was divine as well as the kayaks and SUPs that were available for our use! The kids loved the diving/swimming platform. We had a couple of drizzly days but it didn’t stop them! We rented a pontoon from Greer’s so having the dock access was also appreciated! All in all we are 100% spoiled by this place and we can’t wait to return again! PS - this kitchen has it all - tons of appliances, flatware and dishes plus an incredible bar area with ice maker!!

Summary: The Lodge layout is such that with our large family gathering, everyone found comfortable spots to gather. The bay is ideal for paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming and just relaxing in floaties. We took turns preparing an evening meal for all and the kitchen and dining areas fully accommodated the cooks and diners. We re-upped for next year. The fishermen are determined to catch that big muskie that got away.
