Positive: We had a very nice stay at Isla holiday home. I mainly booked it because of the pool to have a slow rest for our 3 last days in Seychelles. It was pleasant to spend time by the pool, the host was very helpful, the rooms were clean and comfy and had a super beautiful view. The kitchen is well-equipped and the living room is spacious. Since the accommodation is located on top of a hill, you must of course keep in mind that reaching the beach requires either a long walk (which is actually not a big deal, the biggest inconvenience is the lack of a sidewalk), a bus ride, or a car. However, within a short walking distance, there is a shop, a very cozy restaurant, a bus stop, and a some great places to visit (Kot Man-Ya Flower Garden and Spice Farm). We had a group of 10 which included 3 kids (age 5 to 8) and we managed to have a great 3-days stay without a car (as nothing suitable was available in such a short notice) although the local bus card was helpful for the uphill trips. The nearest beach is also nice and quiet. Perhaps the only thing which we did not notice while make a reservation was that the accommodation consists of 2 large houses, meaning the pool isn’t completely private and you have to consider the possibility of other guests. It was not a problem for us; all the vacationers were very friendly. Many thanks for hosting us, we had a wonderful time!

Positive: We had a very nice stay at Isla holiday home. The host Monique was very kind and helpful and met us personally on arrival. She immediately apologised that the apartment was still being cleaned, but the upstairs rooms were ready, so we were able to settle in no problem. The rooms were clean and comfortable with wonderful views. The kitchen is well-equipped and the dining and living rooms are spacious and light. There is also an additional laundry room and drying facilities. The accommodation is tastefully designed and set in beautifully-landscaped gardens with an attractive pool area shared with the other residents. The on-site staff of Ram, Michael and Andrea are very hard-working and always prepared to help out with practical issues. Within a short walking distance, there is a shop which sells everything you need for your stay. Be sure to buy plenty of bottled water! The nearest beaches of Anse Royale and Anse a la Mouche are just a short car ride away. A visit to Kot Man-Ya Flower Garden is a must! Also the Sunday buffet lunch at Chez Batista on Takamaka beach :-) We had a wonderful time at Isla Holiday Home and can highly recommend this place!

Negative: The accomodation is located on top of a hill, and was not easily found by my GPS. The lane from the main road is narrow and a bit tricky in the dark, and the driveway up to the parking area is very steep . But you soon get used to it!!

Negative: The staff was very thorough checking everything before our departure to make sure there was no damage to property prior to returning our bond Our dishwasher was not working and wasn't able to be fixed over the weekend unfortunately, however the daily housekeeping staff did the washing up for our group

Positive: The premises were one of the best I've ever stayed. Spacious, comfortable rooms, all equiped with working air conditioning, kitchen fully equiped with necessary appliances, even the starters have been provided - salt, pepper, olive oil, balsamic, etc. Welcome coconuts for all family members, and even the fairwell dinner organized by the host. Well maintained pool, with kids having a chance for a swim as late as 22:00.

Negative: To my taste, that mattress was a bit hard, and some ants were present on the ground floor (not too many, but still).

Summary: Great location and premisses, however having a car to access best beaches is a must.
