Positive: I like the decor of the Ryokan. It was very old Japanese type with modern touch. The bath was nice although it was not inside the room. Staffs were friendly and the food offered was generous. We have a room with a veranda overlooking the river. Very serene scenery in the night and day.

Negative: If you are taking train to Isamikan, the train timing is very limited from Ujiie Station. We missed the 10.43am bus and we have to wait until 3.55pm (weekday). Although Isamikan have arranged a car to pick us up from the bus station near to Ryokan but when we reached there, it was almost 5pm (1 hour ride on bus). It would be good if Isamikan can have a fixed timing each day such as 1pm, to pick up customers from train station to Isamikan. I would certainly like to visit them again if the journey is not that hectic.
