Positive: Great location, cosy cottage, plenty big enough for a family of four, beds super comfortable. Our kids loved watching the sheep!

Negative: It felt so cold on arrival but once we figured out how to crank the heating up we were nice and warm, it’s what you expect with an old cottage!

Negative: Very cluttered with excessive cushions and ornaments The kitchen was a bit grubby - some plates and pans needed washing The main bed room was very cluttered and dark The garden wasn’t usable really at the back as on a high slope The front area of the property was basic - clearly there had been a hot tub but this had been removed

Positive: Location was so beautiful - exactly what we were looking for; Right on the edge of the moors with lovely walks and drives, still easy to get to places by road - Hexham and Newcastle down to Durham up to Alnwick and in between for pubs and horse riding.

Positive: Comfortable beds, great size rooms. Good pressure on the shower. Quite location with a good view of the countryside.

Negative: Cobwebs everywhere, crockery needed a clean before we used it. A freely roaming dog from the neighbouring property.
