Positive: Great Location and Food * **Comfortable & Clean:** We had a room for three people that was perfectly sized, nicely decorated, and spotlessly clean. * **Ideal Location:** If you are driving, the location is absolutely fantastic. It’s perfectly situated between Jūrmala, Riga, and the airport, making it an ideal base for our holiday. * **Fantastic Dining:** The hotel restaurant was a highlight. The food was delicious, and it seemed to always be open, which was incredibly convenient. * **Peaceful Atmosphere:** The immediate surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful, offering a nice break from the busy tourist spots.
Negative: This hotel has so much potential and gets a lot of things right, but one massive issue unfortunately ruined the experience for us. * **The Smell (The Dealbreaker):** There is a devastating, overwhelming stench coming from nearby open sewer pipes. It made it absolutely impossible to feel comfortable in our room. Even at night, we were forced to keep all the windows tightly closed to block out the odor, which made the room feel stuffy. * **Isolated:** While the area is quiet, there is absolutely nowhere to go on foot. You are completely reliant on a car to get anywhere.
