Summary: The hotel informed us at check in that our room we reserved was not available. I had booked this room approximately 2 months in advance as it is the same hotel we come to every year for my son’s birthday. After I was told I didn’t get the oceanfront room I reserved, I asked if it was still a 2 queen room and was told yes. I was offered a $100 credit to their restaurant as compensation, however we already had reservations for both days elsewhere. When we got to our room we had no view, and only 1 bed. I called down to the front desk and was told there were no other rooms. My two teenage kids had to sleep on the floor. Also, being so hot we got drinks for the room however the refrigerator didn’t work. We never used the $100 credit for restaurant. Disappointing visit as we have stayed here 4 years in a row and this is the first bad trip.
