Summary: For a hotel that was once an icon, a landmark of the city I was shocked to see that I was placed in a room that seem to have not been upgraded or remodel in decades, old furniture, old looking bathrooms and closets. Although most of the service staff was pleasant and helpful on December 6th which was the day of my wife’s birthday celebration nothing special was even offered for her and the food and drink service was extremely slow. During my stay I felt like I wasn’t at the Intercontinental Cali but at an average yet overpriced hotel.
