Summary: Lovely hotel on a beautiful beach. Lots of amazing options to dine out all along the beach. Great pool, has to 50m long. Decent enough gym to do a work out. Big bedrooms. Breakfast delicious with lots of options.

Summary: Great location and the room was really spacious with an amazing enclosed balcony and beautiful view of the garden. The daily breakfasts could not have been better and the staff incredibly friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend the spa treatments. Such a beautiful experience.

Summary: Our room was huge and really beautiful with a lovely outdoor lounge with great views of the ocean. The service from the staff was absolutely impeccable. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, the only thing that was slightly disappointing was the lunch and dinner menus, with both being very similar at Pier8 and Layang Layang, it would have been great to have some more variety. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here

Summary: Honest Review of InterContinental Hotel The hotel has potential, but overall didn’t meet expectations. Pool: View ruined by an ugly restaurant roof not shown in booking photos. Kids’ pools were identical — one good for 3–5 yrs, but too shallow for 5–8. Adult pool was too deep. Many seats lacked cushions, uncomfortable for parents who have to sit for hours watching the kids play in the water. Gym: Missing cable crossover and pull-up bar. No bench press either, though free weights were available. Limited training variety. Breakfast: French toast, pancakes, and beef omelet were great. Iced latte was excellent. Dining area was beautiful. But bread options were limited, and butter was rock hard from being stored on ice. No sliced vegetables to make a proper sandwich. Room: Nice upgrade, but insulation was poor. Wind noise scared our kids, kept them awake. Great view and AC, but bad sleep ruined it. Kids couldn't sleep and they felt it was like a horror movie. Kids Club: Great for under-7s. Our 6-year-old loved it. Not enough for older kids. Shower: Water pressure was weak — showers took forever. Strange for a 5 star hotel to have this weak water pressure on the shower. Wi-Fi: Decent, but not top tier. Minibar: Overpriced — felt like a trap. Area: Loved nearby Icon Mall and Three Monkeys restaurant. Overall Rating: 2.8/5. Wouldn’t return.

Summary: We stayed for 3 nights. Every minute at the resort was amazing. The food, the hospitality, the rooms are super luxe and we want to take the bed back home. The bed was amazing. Big shout out to the breakfast at Layang Layang was super! The only thing is the beach where you could lay on the beds, however with high tide there is a lot of trash, and with low tide you can not really swim. But that’s not something they can work on. We recommend this stay to everyone!
