Summary: Lovely, large room overlooking the harbour entrance. Boats, sea planes, large ferries and small water taxis right outside! Room and bathroom were spotless and excellent food and service both at the restaurant and café. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. Guest parking underground just opposite the main entrance. Friends had recommended the hotel and we were not disappointed!!

Summary: Excellent service from front desk check in to housekeeping, maintenance and Brad in concierge. I would only recommend king size pillows for a king bed and perhaps cleaning/maintaining outside sitting area. Outside Needs clean window, rail, floor and new paint. Otherwise, a great choice for views, service and overall ambiance.

Summary: I was able to check in a little early with a very welcoming person that worked the front desk. He was very knowledgeable about the room and the amenities, letting me know about covered parking and offering information about Victoria if I needed it. The room was very clean, nicely decorated, with a smaller balcony but a great view of the harbor to be able to see the ferries come into the port and seaplanes taxing in and out of the harbor. The beds were very comfortable with wonderful bedding an enough pillows on each. Sheets were crisp and clean. There was adequate plug ins for charging for each bed. Loved the N espresso machine with good coffee pods and there was a small in room refrigerator that had a small freezer compartment - great for freezing ice pack wraps. Bathroom was very clean, well equipped and a comfortable size. The Inn is located in a convenient place, a short walk from the main town, so it was very quiet and peaceful.

Summary: This hotel was spectacular in its day, but the rooms are quite dated - the bathrooms are looking old and need more than just a showerhead replacement; the room had a small patio, but no chairs so it was hard to enjoy. The café downstairs was good but horribly overpriced, and the restaurant food was just average. Don't think I would eat at Aura again.

Summary: Lovely staff and view, but the room was a disappointment for the price. If you are deciding between rooms and wondering if the balcony is worth it, it's not. It was extremely tiny and they don't even provide chairs for you to enjoy it. I guess you're just supposed to stand there momentarily and go back inside? The room, though "just renovated" was bare bones. Like the absolute minimum. There aren't even any rugs or areas of carpeting to make it feel cozier or more homey. The mattress was oversized for the bedframe, so if we sat at the edge of the bed the entire thing would tip up into the air (and I only weigh 120 lbs). It wasn't bad but it definitely wasn't what I expected from reading reviews and seeing pictures. I wouldn't stay again unless I got a really good deal - it's just not worth it for the full price.

Summary: Great location. Indoor pool warm. Fitness studio was lacking and the hotel didn't have a hot tub. Otherwise staff very friendly and great location. Would stay here again. Nice to have a restaurant and coffee shop on site. Right on the boardwalk which was great
