Positive: Amazing house. Fascinating g building and in a brilliant location.

Negative: There was nothing we didn’t like, but the house is a little bit tired. All a bit creaky. One of the double bed felt like it was about to fall apart. Nothing a little bit of TLC wouldn’t cure I’m sure. Also had a problem with the front door lock on exit. The Yale lock jammed and we actually couldn’t get out of the property. Had to go out of the rear gate and put the key in the lock from the front so we could escape!

Positive: Exceptionally well equipped dining-kitchen which was perfect for a family get together over Christmas. Very comfortable bedrooms and lounge. Perfect location in the centre of town but very quiet.

Negative: A couple of internal doors don’t close properly (downstairs toilet and downstairs snug), and attic bathroom could do with redecorating.

Positive: Location was great. First floor drawing was lovely and light and nicely decorated. Lovey thick curtains throughout.

Negative: Mattresses in the twin beds were uncomfortable. Single room quite basic. Only parking for one car.

Positive: It was lovely and spacious, with lots of cooking bits already there, like glasses, pans, plates etc. Generally the home had a really lovely vibe, we had a great stay there. Lovely area too with some really nice bars and restaurants.

Negative: For a house of 9 people, it might be good to have a second key. Also the downstairs toilet we found would keep flushing until you tap the button again, and the door doesn't close properly.

Summary: We really enjoyed the stay here. A lovely home in a lovely town, with Rutland water nearby.
