Negative: Room smelled like ash however all rooms were going through an upgrade before mine when I stayed so this part of the review may now be out of date. Large Bins were emptied outside the room by truck at 7am Shower walls and curtain were not clean

Negative: I arrived late in the evening and had to collect my key from the bar which was no problem, I already knew this before arrival, The guy behind bar was helpful and friendly. My only problem was the location of the room was quite a walk from the bar through a closed bottle shop drive through and around the back of the building. It was quite noisy and a little unnerving for a woman on her own. Not sure how you would check this out on line but probably should have actually called the hotel myself for a chat but just didn't think about the location of the room in relation to anything else. But room was very comfortable and clean. Perfect more than one person. I chose it for it's proximity to Archerfield Airport where I had to be early the morning after check in.
