Our 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom house is part of our Fellowship Farm network and is conveniently located in the heart of Aroostook County, in Caribou, Maine. It is fully appointed - all you have to bring is food!
(Additional options include a very quiet country home on 20 acres in New Sweden that includes a self-contained 2-bedroom apartment on the second floor of our family home, as well as 3 individual first- and second-floor rooms with a shared bathroom. We also have a 4-bedroom home and a 2-bedroom home in Caribou, and a 2-bedroom home in Woodland. Check out those listings too!)

This Caribou home is within walking distance of schools, banks, grocery stores, restaurants, small-town shopping centers, churches, the recreation center and playground, movie theater, post office, and public safety center.
We are about 1-1/2 miles from Cary Medical Center and an easy 14 miles from Northern Light A.R. Gould Hospital in Presque Isle. Summary: Our little group, which consisted of my father, my mother, my fiancé and myself, all had a delightful day in Caribou thanks to James and Ellen. The house was spacious enough to host my daughter and her family for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every single day that we were there. James and Ellen were very responsive and were able to accommodate our late check out due to a change in flight times. We have definitely bookmarked this property for our next visit to Caribou.

Summary: My 2sisters and I had a wonderful stay in Caribou partly due to staying at this VRBO. The location allowed us to walk all over town on familiar and unfamiliar streets. Daily trips to Hannafords and of course to Holton Farms for that ice cream sundae. The weather was typical for August in the County, cold and rainy, hot and sunny! If we had more sunny weather, I would have missed having access to the outside, like a deck or sitting area. It is a pretty busy traffic area being near the entrance to route one. Having one bathroom and no dishwasher was an adjustment we easily made! We quickly made it our home. The owners were nice and attentive but the place was well stocked and explanatory so found little reason to contact them! Highly recommend it.

Summary: Made reservation on line. Received instructions for access to entry and found a great property! We had all the amenities we needed and then some. The property features a large kitchen, dining area, living / TV room, large screen TV, bath room with shower, washer and dryer and some extra toiletries. The first floor master bedroom is fully furnished with Queen size bed, hanger for clothes, dresser and mirror. The large country kitchen is spacious with a large table in an adjoining area. There is are two bedrooms upstairs. Parking is spacious. Will stay there again!! Geo & Glenis

Summary: We stayed in the home for a couple nights while visiting family in the area. Had a wonderful time - house was clean and perfect location, safe and quiet area. Some traffic noise as next to major road, but enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

Summary: The house was a home! I felt comfortable immediately! All the supplies I needed were there! Didn’t expect that! It was clean and charming and perfect for the two of us. A perfect location for us to seek a real fall! Loved the cover blankets left out for us! I would stay again in a heartbeat!Thanks!!!

Summary: Great location for our needs with errands to run in the valley. Clean and plenty of household items to be able to cook and stay comfortably. Only downside is master bed needs a new mattress please. Otherwise all was good
