Positive: We liked the central location, close to shops and restaurants. Also was the apartment well equipped and very clean. The owners are friendly and helpful.

Negative: What we didn't like was the fact, that there was no single window in the whole apartment, only a little flap at the entrance door. With four people and no possibility to get some fresh air in, that's not ideal and not to recommend. Also did we miss an area with a small couch to sit together comfortably. Also a little bench or chairs outside would have upgraded the place.

Summary: Good, central location but with 4 adults for 5 nights, it is just too small and stuffy

Positive: Hosts were fantastic. They were welcoming and accommodating. The facilities were very good. Everything worked and was clean and new. The hosts did a great job at maintaining the cleanliness. While Den Visser is not large, every effort was made to make it as comfortable as possible. Location is great. In the middle of the old town, but out of the way of the noise. We are beyond thankful for In Den Visser and it's hosts! We stayed here not as vacation but as temporary lodging while our child underwent intensive treatment for a health condition. We extended/re-rented 3x as our family was divided for 3 months, one parent at home with our other child and the other here with this child. It was a very challenging, stressful & emotional time for our family but In Den Visser became our home away from home and helped us make it through. The guys constantly went above & beyond with kindness & thoughtfulness for us. They provided everything we could possibly need & more in the apartment; when there was something else needed - they got it right away; and they were always available to tend to something or give a helping hand at any request. As a bonus to all they provided, the location is so convenient to groceries, restaurants, public transit, etc. We would highly recommend In Den Visser to anyone coming to the charming town of Dordrecht!

Positive: Modern take on an old building. Clean, comfortable, convenient

Negative: It needs better ventilation. Maybe a screen door or a fan. We left the door open to make it less stuffy. The place was obviously very clean, but there were still ants. Not lots, but always there.

Positive: The host was fantastic and ready when we arrived. He explained the facilities and gave a tour of the property. Very welcoming.

Negative: It would have been great if there were mirrors in the bedroom, even small ones. For personal comfort, I would have preferred a slightly firmer bed. However, the kitchen facilities were superb, everything you could possibility need.
