Positive: Design and space architecture is wonderful. Very well integrated in the area. I loved the spa experience. Very cold pool and hot jacuzzi - nice contrast for winters. Very quite and perfect to relax. Super comfortable bed. Attention to all details.

Negative: It doesn't make sense to charge extra for scramble eggs for breakfast.

Positive: A beautiful new building with superb facilities in the rooms and comunal areas. Amazing breakfast hamper brought to our rooms and very friendly and helpful hosts.

Negative: Ideally we would have liked a restaurant on site - the kitchenettes were fine and we were happy catering for ourselves but a fair drive to the nearest town with supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Great if you want to get away from it all though.

Summary: An amazing place for anyone wanting a quiet retreat in a beautiful building with excellent hosts.

Positive: A hidden gem - tastefully renovated old country house with a nice spa. Very helpful and friendly hosts - I felt warmly welcome from the first moment. And to my positive surprise, there was even an electric car charging station on site.

Negative: The railway line between Portugal and Spain is currently undergoing major upgrades - hopefully it won't be long until guests can enjoy the convenience of a train station that is only 8 km away (Cerdeira). When I visited, Guarda (30 km away) was the nearest train station.

Positive: Everything really. The place is superb. A perfect rebuilding project keeping the original structure and making it a modern facility. The staff is super attentive. Great breakfast. A fireplace inside the flat, wood always available right to the door. Every single detail is taken into account by the team. This is what we call home.
