Positive: Its a spacious well fitted out attic apartment, very warm (in February) and exceptionally quiet, looking out over woodland. Our host was amazingly helpful. We hired bikes and explored the Vennbahn cycle track and commuting into Aachen city centre or by train to Cologne was incredibly easy.
