Very friendly Ilyessa family made us feel at home, gave us recommendations for what to see and do on the island.

Positive: Ilyessa Cottages was everything we hoped for and more — a perfect escape. From the moment we arrived, Hara, Dionysis, and their family made us feel truly welcome. Their warmth, attentiveness, and helpful recommendations made such a difference in our stay. The cottages are beautifully situated in an olive grove. Inside, everything is spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The private terraces, hammock, and garden spaces added extra comfort and privacy. Breakfast was a highlight — varied and freshly prepared with high-quality local produce. We felt the value for money was excellent.
Summary: A peaceful and authentic stay in a beautiful location with truly wonderful hosts.

Positive: We have been to Ilyessa many times, Xara, Dennis and their family are always so welcoming. The houses are always spotless. Xara’s food is fantastic and there is nothing bad to say. The cottages are in an olive grove with a fabulous pool overlooking the sea. It is a little remote so you will either need to use taxis or hire a car.
Negative: Nothing
Summary: Heaven on earth with the loveliest family in Greece

Positive: We had an absolutely perfect stay at Ilyessa Cottages and loved every moment of it. From the warm welcome we received from Ilyessa family to their exceptional hospitality throughout our stay, everything was wonderful. They went above and beyond by providing us with fantastic recommendations for activities, making dinner reservations at a charming restaurant, and ensuring we felt right at home. The accommodation itself was impeccably clean and boasted a lovely, authentic Greek appearance. The setup was ideal, offering privacy with our own terrace and garden, which we truly appreciated. From our bedroom, we enjoyed breathtaking views of the valley and sea. A special highlight was the delicious food prepared by the mother of the family, served at the bar kitchen by the swimming pool. Her culinary skills added a delightful touch to our experience, making our stay even more memorable. The bar kitchen atmosphere by the pool was lovely, creating a perfect setting for relaxing and enjoying our meals. We highly recommend staying at Ilyessa Cottages. A warm thank you to Ilyessa family for the lovely experience!
Negative: We did not have any disappointment staying at Ilyessa cottages.

Positive: We stayed many times in Greece and in many different accommodations, but this really was the most beautiful one!! The cottages are so nicely decorated and very private, you have your own big terrace with practically your own back yard. And then the pool area with magnificent sea and Kefalonia view. In the pool bar you can order food between 09.00 and 17.00 h, this food is delicious and you do not have to order breakfast in advance. So you can decide each morning to leave early and have breakfast in your cottage or to go to the pool and have it there. Hara and Dennis are the most friendly hosts and Dennis takes the time to sit with you after your arrival with a map of Zakynthos to point out all the places, beaches and restaurants which are worth a visit. Communication with the hosts is also very good, they respond very quickly to any questions you might have. So, in short, when we ever return to Zakynthos, we will most certainly stay in Ilyessa Cottages!! Also because of the location, somewhat in the middle of the island, so you can reach all parts by car within reasonable time.
Negative: Nothing at all!!
Summary: Heaven!!
