Positive: We loved the location of the property. It was very close walking distance to be able to meander the old town of Sperlonga. We also loved the view from our balcony! It was clean and bright. The communication with Gaetano was great! He made our stay there very comfortable, and the staff of ladies were wonderful! They were all so sweet! Breakfast was enjoyable and beautiful location! We also loved our private beach- Bazzano Beach! It was wonderful!

Negative: Not a thing we didn’t like about it!

Summary: So, I would highly recommend II Volo for anyone thinking about a trip to Sperlonga!

Positive: I guess you only get what you pay for! The room was spotless not just in terms of cleanliness but also in presentation! We had a lovely view of the long beach albeit shadowed by trees ! Aircon worked perfectly! The room was serviced every day in a meticulous fashion! Breakfast was more than substantial you could have eggs done any way you want if you prefer a more traditional breakfast! The real surprise was the hotel had a dedicated driver to take us to a more secluded beautiful beach and it wasn’t crowded which also included deck lounges and umbrellas for free !

Negative: I’m a Real Estate Agent and the number of keys to get thru gates lobby entrances did my head in especially one door which had old locks for the life of me I couldn’t open the bloody thing ! I had to call one of the staff members to let me in ! Grrrrrr !!!

Summary: Positively beautiful recommend any one to go there been to 50 countries 476 cities I reckon I know hotels and B&B ‘s

Positive: We had a fantastic stay! The apartment offered a wonderful view and was within walking distance to restaurants and Sperlonga Centro, making it incredibly convenient. The host was exceptional—we truly appreciated her effort in arranging for our family to stay together during the same period. The breakfast spread was generous, and enjoying it on the terrace with a sea view made it even more special. Highly recommended!

Negative: The only downside was that beach access was via a shuttle. While the service worked very well and the beach itself was a beautiful stretch of coastline, for ease and comfort, we would have preferred direct access across the road so we could easily return to the apartment throughout the day.

Summary: Our stay was truly memorable—beautiful views, thoughtful hospitality, and a perfect location!

Negative: Two days before arrival we received a message from Il Volo that we should arrive at the hotel not later than 16.30, as the staff's working day ends at 17.00. This requirement was not stated when confirming the booking, it was completely unexpected for us. We would certainly have cancelled the booking if we had known about it in advance. We booked a 24 m2 room, but the room was no more than 18 m2, while the staff claimed the room was 24 m2. In the wardrobe, the hanger bar was mounted so high that it was impossible to reach it to hang clothes.
