Positive: The owner's son was waiting for us when we arrived and took us around the property, explaining everyting as we went.

Negative: There was no hand rail on the steps down to the 'suite' which for most is not an issue but for Pete, who has balance issues meant he had to walk down the grass instead.

Summary: Beautiful house and grounds, welcomed relief from the heat in the pool!

Positive: The accommodation exceeded our expectations, everything was clean and tidy, the kitchen was well equipped and the villa felt spacious even in a larger group. We loved the pool (it had enough sunbeds for everyone) and the grill outside. And the views from the villa were amazing! The only thing is that you definitely need a car to get there and the road is a bit bumpy. That is, however, compensated by the quiet of the neighbourhood.

Positive: The villa was amazing with great view. Very quiet but awesome also for a large group. The wood bbq and the large outside table made some memorable group dinner. We loved the authenticity of Montescudaio village and Bardivino restaurant. The host was very helpful to suggest activities and great places to visit. They were also accommodating for late check in and even prepared food and wine for us for our arrival.

Negative: There wasn’t enough bedding and pillows on our arrival but we managed to make it work in the end. The villa could provide more towels considering there is a pool. The big grocery store is a little far so be prepared to stock up on food.

Summary: Charming country side village with stunning view to the sea.

Positive: The location is great: you have a lot of space outside and areas for eating together, read while the others are enjoying the pool. The hosts are very kind and helpfull. We got a lot of recommendations where to eat, which shops and markets are nearby.

Negative: The only thing which is a small manko is that the shower pressure is less when two people are taking a shower at the same time in different showers but it's not a great manko.
